The Pro's and con's of friends

Well, yes here it is. Sorry it has taken sooo long for me to blog, I just haven't been in the mood. Deal with it.
Well, here is a very interesting topic. As the new semester came, new semester meant new classes, new teachers and yes new friends. I've been ripped from my best friends and im quite lonely now. I sit in the back of class holding tears because well, first of all i'm lonely. Friends, even though they don't seem that important at school, are so important. And here is the list.

Pro's:
~When you need someone to talk to, FRIENDS
~When you want to do something fun, FRIENDS
~When you need a study buddy, FRIENDS
~ They understand you
~They know mostly what you are going through
~They will be there for you in thick and thin
~They are fun to play with ;)
~They talk to you!
~Sometimes they make you feel important!

Cons:
~When you have no friends... Like Sucks.
~No friends= No fun.:(
~They don't always understand you.
~They won't always be the same, face it. people change.
~Sometimes they don't remember they are your friend and they make stupid choices.
~Sometimes they leave you out.
~Sometimes they'll walk out of your life and forget you completely.
~Sometimes they pretend they care. PRETEND
~Sometimes they hate you for things you did and they won't forgive.
~Sometimes they like to gossip untrue things about you.
~Sometimes you have to be the bigger person and stand up for stupid things you do.
~Sometimes they can HURT you, far more than they can HELP you.
~Sometimes friends are idiots.
~Sometimes friends tell your secrets.
~Sometimes friends seem invisible the time you need them most.
~Sometimes friends are stupid.
~Sometimes they are inconsiderate, and don't include you.
~Sometimes you tell them nice things that you said with your heart and all they say is "K"
Like i dont want to talk about potassium...

But mostly friends are good. So be greatful when you have them.

Being sick. It is not fun. Trust me..

So, I was sick on New Years, and I thought I was getting better, because i just had a little cough. Turns out i'm still sick. It started on sunday, when i woke up and couldn't breathe. It has just become worse and worse, but because it is the end of the term, i can't afford to miss any school. After school today, I went reluctantly to rehearsal. I felt awful. i would spin, and feel dizzy. i could't even finish the song. i walked out and found some friends practicing in the band room. Channing and conner were in there and they both felt my burning face and told me to go home because i had a fever. I stayed a couple more minutes, then we all left. I'm so sick of being sick. Why can't I just get better already?

While i have been sick, i tend to do three things.

•Pretend like i play the piano.

•Text and message people ;) and last but not least

• Entertain myself with stupid youtube video's

Ever sense my sister moved to college, i have been really practicing the piano. You didn't know i play? Well then.. Just kidding I dont. I like to play, But i just make stuff up. I don't read piano music. Ha. I'v learned I'm yours, Fix you, and a little bit of how to save a life. I found this guy on youtube, who likes to prank people while he goes through drive-throughs. One of the video's he has a costume that looks exactly like a car seat, and he pretends he is a ghost. It is HILARIOUS. Another video, he glues his credit card to a fake hand, and when they reach for the credit card, well you get the point. Its great. look him up.

Hope you had fun reading, even though i am the most boring blogger, oh well get over it ;)

Love and kisses XOX

Chocolate Orange Hot Cocoa

Sometimes, when you realize how freezing winter really is, all you need is some good hot cocoa, and a warm fire. I love hot cocoa, but sometimes plain chocolate... is just too plain. So i've decided to show you one of my favorite ways to spice up your hot cocoa without having to buy a flavored mix.

First: Make normal chocolate hot cocoa.

As you can see, i made it in a Tim Hortons mug that my canadian friend sent me :D

Second: Slice a cutie or almost any other orange and score the flesh of the fruit. I used a cutie that I had laying around from the holidays. Easy to use, but harder to squeeze because the fruit wanted to come out of the peel.

Next, squeeze it into your hot cocoa. I did not measure how much I did, I just squeezed until i couldn't get any more out of it, then tasted it to make sure it was okay. I put in the perfect amount. Depending on your personal preference, squeeze more if you like it stronger, and squeeze less for just a hint.

Third: Put in a Half a teaspoon of cinnamon, and about a half a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. (I used imitation vanilla, but whatever works for you is great!)

After, blend well and embelish with marshmallows, sprinkles, and cream. Straws can be used also! ( I was lame, and didn't embelish mine for two reasons. Reason one, we don't have any marshmallows right now. and Two, I hate Marshmallows.) But i did add a straw!

Now, go sit by a fire, grab your favorite magazing, or book, grab a blanket, and Enjoy life :D

IMPORTANT LAST STEP: After you are finished, wrinse out your mug or else the remains of the hot cocoa will harden like cement. After you wrinse, put it in your dishwasher (Provided it isn't washing, or full of clean dishes) and show your mom who is boss. Yes, clean up after yourself. I promise i will make your life easier.

Warm wishes, and happy reading!

Winter. And the new year.

On the very last day of 2012, me and my friends Matt, Hayley, Alisa, and Lila went iceskating. We had a super fun time learning how to ice skate and skating around the last day of the year. We all gathered at Hayley's house at 11, and left around 11:30. We got to peaks arena, then skated until about 3. We left and had donuts and hot cocoa at our house.

Later, I had the chance to go over to my friend Brenna's house for a party that they, and the Spotts' were hosting. It was great. The adults got to brag about what their families were doing, while the teens, (Evie, Brenna, Channing, and myself) Plus some played just dance down in their theatre. Me and her brother Mark ended up doing the non-stop dance marathon of just dance. After about the fifth dance, we figured out you can pause the game. We paused the game, then after we rested we got up and started dancing again. It was epic. We decided to take one last picture (Below) before the night ended.

After we were done, we grabbed pots and pans at the Spotts' house and grabbed a bottle of martinellies to share. We all counted down until the clock struck 12 and all took a swig. Brenna decided to tell us afterwards that she was sick... Yes I think I caught her cough. Sickness being a cough + my athsma= No good. I just hope I don't get walking pneumonia again! We ended up filling the pots and pans with snow and chucking them at people.. Yes only the snow, pans would hurt. It was a super snowy night, it wasn't like we were dry anyways.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!

Much love,
